Jamie Colby
Colby is employed by Fox News since July 2003 as National News Correspondent and Anchor. Colby worked as an anchor, reporter and correspondent for CBS News prior to becoming a correspondent for FOX News Channel. Colby also filled in for CBS Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby was admitted as an attorney for New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Colby has won awards like the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002 for coverage of the September 11 attacks. 11, for her reporting on the September 11 attacks. Colby had a background as an attorney and, in addition to her career as a journalist, also worked for 10 years in private practice. Colby's law firm began when a Hollywood production firm assigned her to The Tonight Show. At the age of 22, Colby began her career as a reporter and host of Johnny Carson, both during the contract renewal of NBC alongside him as well as during his divorce. Colby is the host and reporter for Strange Inheritance on Fox Business, covering quirky or unexpected legacy left by friends or family members.
